Get your calculator out. Rachel Reeves has announced £21.7 billion of government funding for carbon capture and storage projects. She justifies this saying it will create 4,000 jobs. The far-right riots show that there is still much to be done in the struggle against racism.

It has been a terrifying few weeks in Britain. Especially for our Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Jewish siblings, those seeking refuge and asylum in this country and anyone who does not fit the far-right's definition of a valid English citizen.
